SUNDAY CEREMONIES
We hold weekly ceremonies for those interested in cultivating merit through the practice of Buddhism or seeking to develop their spiritual journey.
The schedule is as follows (except on the first Sunday of the month):
9:40 AM Taking Refuge in the Triple Gem
10:00 AM Meditation
10:45 AM Observance of the 5 Precepts and Food Offering to the Sangha
11:15 AM Ceremony ends/Lunch
Before or after the meditation, there will be a specific ceremony each week. Please check the information below for details.
To ensure that the ceremony is not cancelled and our benefactors can prepare lunch accordingly, kindly contact us in advance.
FIRST SUNDAY OFFERING TO BUDDHA
This ceremony fosters a sense of connection, compassion, and spiritual upliftment as practitioners join together to offer reverence and merit to the enlightened beings. It’s a beautiful expression of devotion and generosity.
*This ceremony will be held at night.
SECOND SUNDAY FISH RELEASING
The Buddhist fish-releasing ceremony reflects the desire to alleviate suffering and create positive energy. However, practitioners must balance compassion with awareness of potential consequences.
*Our team will release fish in Thailand and live stream the process for our members to attend in our centre.
THIRD SUNDAY TRANSFERENCE OF MERITS
This ceremony allows practitioners to share their accumulated merits with those who have passed away, fostering a sense of interconnectedness and compassion across time and space.
FOURTH SUNDAY OTHER OFFERINGS/DAY RETREAT
We will hold additional offering ceremonies for our Buddhist community on the fourth and fifth Sundays. In some weeks, we may cancel a ceremony due to a day retreat.
